We focus in assisting the community by transforming conflict in agreements, through the facilitation of communication, in a relaxing, neutral and safe atmosphere, in addition to providing assistance to victims using the resources of existing victim assistance programs in the community, family support and training. We have been offering services to the community, with special attention to immigrants experiencing conflicts, mainly due to the process of acculturation.

The United States of America is a melting pot, as people usually say. Perhaps, we probably should say, this is one of the few countries that have opened their doors to millions of immigrants from around the world for centuries. Consequently, many psychological and sociological issues exist in this population. Among those, biculturalism and acculturation are probably the two most important source of conflict that mediators, mental health professionals, sociologists and judicial experts are studying seriously to make our society a better place to live.
At YSG we strategize contribution to many public and private institutions and individuals that are trying to unify efforts in order to approach the phenomenon of acculturation and conflict.
